Bhubaneswar: The Indian Men’s and Hockey teams were given a rousing welcome on their arrival at the Biju Patnaik International Airport on Tuesday.
Soon after the arrival, the team members were welcomed by the Sport and Youth Services Minister Tusharkanti Behera and Commissioner-cum-Secretary R Vineel Krishna.
The teams were later taken on two special buses to Hotel Sandy Tower.
According to the schedule, the team will have lunch at the hotel and then have a press conference.
In the afternoon, both the teams will have a photo session with the Chief Minister at the Kalinga Stadium.
In the evening, the teams will leave for the Lok Seva Bhawan where they will be felicitated by the Chief Minister.
The teams are also expected to have dinner with the Chief Minister at Kalinga Stadium.
