New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: After the mega-recruitment drive for filling up 89,409 vacancies (26,502 posts for Assistant Loco Pilots and Technicians and 62,907 for Level-1), Indian Railways has announced recruitment to 9739 sub-Inspector and constable posts in Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF).
There are vacancies for 1120 sub-inspectors (819 male and 301 female) and 8619 constables (4403 male and 4216 female).
Online applications will be received from 10 am on June 1 to 11.59 pm on June 30.
The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has also signed an MoU with the Department of Posts to receive fees from the candidates through post offices with internet facility all over the country through challan. The fees collected at various post offices will facilitate the candidates to submit their applications online.
The MoU was signed by Atul Kumar Pathak, IG/RPF on behalf of ECoR and Khageswar Mallick, Assistant Director, Postal Department in presence of Rajkumar Manocha, Principal Financial Advisor of ECoR.
