Ahmedabad: The quarterfinal line-up in the Indian Women’s League was finalised after the completion of the group league stage here on Saturday evening.
Needing a win to top Group B and get a relatively easy opponent in the last-eight stage, Odisha FC managed a goalless draw with Sethu (Madurai) to finish third with 16 points.
Odisha FC’s Jashoda Munda received the best player of the match award, her second in the league.
Though Odisha FC were tied on points with Kickstart FC, the team from Karnataka pipped Odisha FC to the second spot due to a better goal difference, thanks to their 9-0 rout of Central Reserve yesterday.
Sethu topped the group with 17 points.
Odisha FC will face Group A toppers and defending champions on May 16.
Sports Odisha, who also qualified for the knockout stage as the second-placed team in Group A, will come up against Eastern Sporting who finished fourth in Group B on the same day.
