Jeypore: The IndiaOne Air has again cancelled its flights from Jeypore in Odisha’s Koraput district to different destinations for two days.
According to sources, the airline informed the passengers, who had booked tickets in advance, over phone that their flights on Monday and Tuesday have been cancelled. They cited technical problem as the cause of the cancellation of flights.
The IndianOne Air flights from Jeypore to Bhubaneswar, Jeypore to Visakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar to Jeypore and Visakhapatnam to Jeypore have been cancelled for the two days. But the airline announced that booking for its flights was open for July 19, the sources said.
With both Jeypore and Bhubaneswar receiving rainfall for the last three days, the passengers have expressed their resentment over the cancellation of flights.
It may be noted that a flight of the airline returned to Bhubaneswar as it was unable to land at Jeypore airport because of rough weather on Sunday. The nine-seater aircraft which had taken off from Bhubaneswar reportedly did not get the required permission from the Air Traffic Control (ATC) to land at Jeypore.
