Bhubaneswar: The two-day qualifier round of the FIFA World Tour, India’s biggest eSports tournament, will be held at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar from today. This was announced in a statement by Just Think Sports.
The prize pool for the event is Rs 1.5 lakh.
It may be recalled, that Bhubaneswar has positioned itself as the ‘Sports Capital of India’.
Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Odisha Sports and Tourism Department, Vishal K Dev said Odisha is leading the way when it comes to sports or sporting events. E-sports is the next big thing and the Sports Department is happy to support and host this event at Kalinga Stadium here, he added.
