New Delhi: India on Tuesday recorded over 3.57 lakh new COVID-19 cases and 3,449 deaths in the last 24 hours.
With 3,57,229 fresh cases in 24 hours, India’s total case tally crossed the 2-crore mark to touch 2,02,82,833. The total number of active COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 3,447,133.
With 3,449 deaths, India’s death toll has reached 222,408 while the number of recoveries has reached 16,613,292.
Among the states, Maharashtra reported the highest of 48,621 new cases, followed by Karnataka (44,438), Uttar Pradesh (29,052), Kerala (26,011) and Tamil Nadu (20,952).
