New Delhi: India’s Omicron-positive tally rose to 77 on Thursday as Delhi added four more cases.
None of the 10 cases of the new coronavirus variant detected in the national capital so far has shown severe symptoms, informed Delhi’s Health minister Satyendar Jain.
Nine of the 10 patients are admitted at Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital (LNJP) Hospital, while one has been discharged.
Delhi’s Omicron cases may rise further as 40 people have been admitted to the LNJP hospital’s special facility, where suspected cases of the new variant have been isolated.
