Bhubaneswar: The Omicron tally in India has touched 781 with cases pouring in from 21 states and UTs, the Union Health Ministry informed on Wednesday.
Among them, 241 people have recovered or migrated.
Delhi has 238 Omicron cases, the highest in India so far, followed by Maharashtra at 167, Gujarat 73, Kerala 65 and Telangana 62.
Notably, one more foreign returnee has tested positive for this variant of COVID-19 in Odisha, taking the tally to nine.
