Bhubaneswar: An Indigo flight made an emergency landing at Biju Patnaik International Airport here on Saturday morning.
According to sources, the IndiGo flight was on its way to Chennai from Guwahati, when the condition of a child suddenly became critical. Following a request from the parents, the pilot informed the matter to the traffic control centre of the Biju Patnaik International Airport.
The airport authorities agreed to the request for an emergency landing.
Soon after the landing, the ailing child was rushed to the Capital Hospital.
