IndiGo To Launch Night-Time Flight From Bhubaneswar On June 1

Bhubaneswar: With the Biju Patnaik International Airport here emerging as one of the busiest airports in the country, the IndiGo Airlines has decided to launch direct night-time flight from Bhubaneswar to New Delhi on June 1.

As per available information, the 6E2125 flight will leave Bhubaneswar at 1.30 am on June 1 and arrive in New Delhi at 4 am. Similarly, the 6E2124 flight will leave New Delhi at 2.35 am and arrive in Bhubaneswar at 4.45 am.

For the direct night-time flight, IndiGo will engage 180-seater A-320 Airbus.

With the launching of the night-time flight, the Bhubaneswar airport will handle 11 daily flights from the Odisha capital.

Spread over an area of 836 acres, the airport is ranked the 15th busiest airport in India by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and 11th among the airports maintained by AAI registering a 39.4% growth in traffic compared to the previous year.
