IndiGo Resumes Flight Services From New Delhi To Odisha’s Industrial Hub Jharsuguda

New Delhi: With the customary water canon salute by Aircraft Crash Fire Tenders (ACFTs) of Airport Authority of India, IndiGo Airlines resumed its flight services between New Delhi and Odisha’s Jharsuguda.

The first flight departed from Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) New Delhi at 3.20 pm with 183 passengers and reached Veer Surendra Sai Airport at Jharsuguda at 5.15 pm on Wednesday.

The return flight with 182 passengers departed from Jharsuguda at 5.45 pm and reached the airport in New Delhi at 7.40 pm.

The airlines had earlier announced that flight services between New Delhi and Jharsuguda would start on May 15 in line with airline’s mission to bolster regional connectivity and accessibility. “These flights will provide a direct gateway between the emerging industrial centre and the capital of India,” IndiGo stated in a statement issued to press.
