Jharsuguda: IndiGo is set to operate daily direct flights, connecting Odisha’s Jharsuguda with Bengaluru, from Wednesday (November 15).
The flight will be of 2 hour and 5 minutes duration, according to the airline’ website.
The Airbus A320neo will take off from Veer Surendra Sai Airport in Jharsuguda at 12.50 pm on Wednesday and reach Bengaluru at 2.55 pm. The direct flight from Bengaluru commences at 10.15 am and arrives in the western Odisha town at 12.20 pm.
This comes 10 days after the launch of direct flights between Jharsuguda and Kolkata. “These new flights will further strengthen inter-state connectivity, making it easier for travellers to reach this significant industrial and business centre,” IndiGo earlier said in a statement.
