Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of OMBADC, Uma Nanduri said 889 secondary schools in Angul, Dhenkanal, Deogarh, Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Mayurbhaj and Sundargarh districts have been brought under the project with an estimated cost of Rs 533.40 crore.
The proposal for development of indoor stadiums in Belpahar, Brajrajnagar, Anandpur, Barbil, Birmitrapur, Rajganjpur, Rourkela and Vyasnagar municipalities and Champua and Joda NACs was also approved in the meeting.
The project on the application of ICT and data science for the environmental information system with a cost of Rs 3.10 croe was also approved.
Development Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Jena, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) Sisir Kumar Ratho, Finance Secretary Vishal Kumar Dev, School & Mass Education Secretary Satyabrata Sahu, Odisha Pollution Control Board’s Member Secretary Dr K Murugesan, Sports & Youth Services Secretary Vineel Krishna participated in the meeting.
