Bhubaneswar: Setting an example for violators of lockdown guidelines, police department suspended a constable on the same charge.
Constable Prasanna Behera of Maitrivihar outpost under Chandrasekharpur police station was placed under suspension due to gross negligence of duty. He was found in an inebriated condition along with eight others near Jaydev Bhawan in Bhubaneswar in gross violation of lockdown guidelines of the State Government.
Behera is general secretary of Havildar and Constable Association of Bhubaneshwar UPD.
