New Delhi: Much to the amazement of everyone on board an AirAsia flight, a male passenger misbehaved with the crew and took off all his clothes.
The man, reportedly in an inebriated state, first got into an argument with the cabin crew on the I5-722 flight from Bengaluru to Delhi, reported ANI.
“Firstly, the unruly passenger started a heated argument with the cabin crew about life jackets. He later misbehaved with the crew and suddenly took off all his clothes,” a passenger on board that flight told ANI.
An AirAsia India spokesperson confirmed the incident.
“An inebriated guest on board flight I5-722, from Bengaluru to New Delhi on April 6, behaved in an inappropriate manner including with a cabin crew on duty. The guest was advised repeatedly to behave properly and paid heed only after multiple requests by crew members,” the spokesperson said.
The pilots, who were informed about the incident, sought permission from Delhi’s Air Traffic Controller (ATC) for priority landing.
CISF personnel took away the man after the plane landed at Delhi and handed him over to police.
