Bhubaneswar: The Infosys Development Centre here has won the coveted Odisha State Energy Conservation Award (OSECA) for the 5th time in a row, for taking effective initiatives to conserve energy.
The award was given at a function on Energy Conservation Day on December 14 by the Odisha Energy Department at Jayadev Bhawan in the city.
As an organization, Infosys has made outstanding contributions in the area of energy efficiency. In October, the Bhubaneswar Software Technology Park of India (STPI) campus was declared the Leader in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) under the Green Building Rating System. The LEED Platinum building is recognized by Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) and this certification is awarded to highly energy efficient buildings.
