Bhubaneswar=: Odisha’s first inpatient Rehabilitation Unit was inaugurated at SUM Ultimate Medicare here on the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day on Thursday.
The advanced inpatient rehabilitation unit offers the highest quality care to patients, requiring neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation as well as post-operative and palliative care, a hospital release said.
The unit was inaugurated by Chief Executive Officer. Chief of Medical Services, Dr Swetapadma Dash. Head of the Department of Physiotherapy Dr P. Balakishore, the physiotherapy team, and other employees were present.
The rehabilitation unit is devised to infuse hope in people who have recovered from critical injuries or illnesses and are in need of physiotherapy and personalized care to regain fitness, it added.
