Bhubaneswar: As part of Navy Week 23 celebration, INS Chilika organised an Indian Navy Band concert in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
The evening started with Vice Admiral Ramakant K Pattnaik (Retd) and his wife lighting the traditional lamp. The Indian Navy Band enthralled the audience with instrumental and vocal scores ranging from western classics to martial music, patriotic songs, retro Bollywood and famous Odia numbers.
The smooth blend of various music styles resonated well with the attentive audience. The event extended its outreach to the civilian population, fostering a sense of patriotism among the youths.
The officers of Indian Armed Forces, retired military personnel, civilian dignitaries and the local population of Bhubaneswar attended the concert.
