Bhubaneswar: As part of Navy Week Celebrations 2022 and Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, INS Chilka organised an Indian Navy Band Concert at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar.
The Indian Navy Band enthralled the audience with instrumental and vocal scores ranging from martial music, patriotic songs, popular Bollywood and Odia songs. The event concluded with the recently released ‘Indian Navy Anthem- Call of the Blue Waters’ also known as ‘Hum Taiyyar Hai’ rendered by the Naval Band and ‘Bande Utkal Janani’ by Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal.
Besides the Governor, Achyuta Samantha, MP and Founding Member of KIIT & KISS attended the programme on Saturday. Several dignitaries, retired military personnel, officers of the Indian Armed Forces and Odisha Police, NCC cadets and school students were also present.
