New Delhi: Instagram suffered an outage in several parts of the world with India being one of the worst-hit regions just after Thursday noon.
The problem behind the outage is not clear right now and it’s something that Facebook will reveal after conducting an investigation into the matter.
Downdetector, a platform that tracks internet outages, reported that the problem peaked around 12.15 pm.
By 12.30 pm, swaths of Indian consumers complained that they were not able to access the popular social media platform in cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
According to Instagram users who took to Twitter and Downdetector’s forum to report problems, the feed was not getting refreshed, the DMs were not working and profiles were throwing an error when someone tried to access them.
