Bhubaneswar: The Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar (BJB) Autonomous College will offer a new self-financing course in integrated law from the 2022-23 academic year.
The Higher Education Department of Odisha informed the principal of BJB Autonomous College, through an official notification on Wednesday, regarding the opening of Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA-LLB) in Public-private partnership (PPP) mode.
According to the official notification, the duration of the courses, having 72 seats, will be five years. Students need to pay Rs 40,000 for the first three years and Rs 50,000 for the remaining two years.
The courses will be run by BJB College in collaboration with M/s Youth Organisation for urban & Rural Service (YOURS) Trust, Bhubaneswar.
The government will not provide any funds and staff for running the courses. As per UGC guidelines for colleges, the Madhusudan Law University, Cuttack, will be duly informed regarding the opening of such courses and necessary affiliation may be obtained from the University from the year 2022-23, the release added.
