Mumbai: After working together in critically acclaimed movies such as ‘Raanjhanaa’ and ‘Atrangi Re’, South star Dhanush and filmmaker Aanand L Rai have once again teamed up for the upcoming film ‘Tere Ishq Mein.’
Interestingly, Bollywood beauty Kriti Sanon has been roped in to play the leading lady opposite Dhanush in the film.
The makers of ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ released an intense first-look video featuring Kriti Sanon on Tuesday.
In the video, Kriti is seen walking through a riot-hit area, holding a bottle of kerosene in her hand, while delivering a powerful monologue.
“You love me, I know, but it isn’t necessary that I feel the same for you. You may raise the city to chaos in your frenzy, but it isn’t necessary that I, too, burn in pain. It may be inevitable that your anguish scares me, but it isn’t necessary that I succumb to fear. You may bow your head in temples and before idols, but it isn’t necessary that you will find salvation,” Kriti as ‘Mukti’ can be heard saying.
The video clip concludes showing Kriti pouring kerosene on herself and lighting a cigarette, leaving the viewers baffled.
The caption along with the video read as: “Some souls are meant to collide. Some love stories are destined to burn brighter.❤️🔥 Welcoming Kriti Sanon to the #WorldOfRaanjhanaa as MUKTI in #TereIshkMein.”
Elated fans took to social media to express their excitement.
One user wrote, “Dhanush and Kriti Sanon will blow everyone’s minds with this venture. Extremely excited.”
Another shared, “Excited for this combination.” A third added, “Kriti killed it.”
‘Tere Ishk Mein’ revolves around one-sided love, longing, and emotional conflict.
Directed by Aanand L Rai and produced by Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar, the film is set to release on November 28, 2025.
The film will be releasing in Hindi and Tamil languages.
