New Delhi: The budget session of Parliament will commence from January 3 and interim budget will be tabled in the house on February 1. Both the houses will remain in session till February 13.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs on Wednesday.
While Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will table the interim budget, the full budget will be tabled by the newly-elected government after the Lok Sabha elections.
This will be the last parliament session before general elections that are due this year.
