New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan’s 2023 releases – Pathaan and Jawan broke several records and created some new ones too. They are now set for international recognition. Both the movies have been nominated for New York Magazine’s Vulture’s Annual Stunt Awards. They will compete against heavyweights like Keanu Reeves’ John Wick 4 and Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible- Dead Reckoning, among others.
According to a post shared by Vulture, the complete list of nominations for the second Annual Stunt Awards is out and includes SRK’s Jawan under the Best Stunt in an Action Film alongside The Equalizer 3, Extraction 2, John Wick: Chapter 4, and Mission: Impossible—Dead Reckoning Part One. The Atlee film has also been nominated in the category of Best Vehicular Stunt and will compete with films like Fast X, Ferrari, John Wick: Chapter 4, and Mission: Impossible—Dead Reckoning Part One.
Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Pathaan has also bagged a nomination in the Best Aerial Stunt category. The film will compete against other nominees, including Extraction 2, Godzilla Minus One, Kandahar, and Mission: Impossible—Dead Reckoning Part One.
Finally, the two SRK films have been nominated in the category of Best Overall Action Film, an award given to the best film for stunt work overall. Other nominees in the category include Chris Hemsworth’s Extraction 2, Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible-Dead Reckoning Part One, Keanu Reaves’ John Wick: Chapter 4, Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant, and Joel Kinnaman’s Silent Night among others.
