International Women’s Day: Virat Kohli’s Emotional Post For Anushka & Vamika

Ahmedabad: Team India captain took to social media to wish the two ladies of his life — wife Anushka Sharma and daughter Vamika — on International Women’s Day.

Recalling the feeling of witnessing the birth of their first child two months ago as the most ‘spine-chilling experience’ Kohli wrote how it made him understand the true strength and divinity of women.

In an emotional post on Instagram, along with a cute picture of Anushka and Vamika, Kohli described his wife as the most ‘fiercely compassionate and strong woman of his life.

“Seeing the birth of a child is the most spine chilling, unbelievable and amazing experience a human being can have. After witnessing that, you understand the true strength and divinity of women and why God created life inside them. It’s because they are way stronger than us men. Happy Women’s Day to the most fiercely, compassionate and strong woman of my life and to the one who’s going to grow up to be like her mother. And also a Happy Women’s Day to all the amazing women of the world,” Kohli wrote.

Kohli’s deputy in Tests Ajinkya Rahane also paid tribute on this special day, wishing the ‘many strong women’ in his life via Twitter.
