Mumbai: The song ‘Shararat’ from Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster spy thriller ‘Dhurandhar’ has become a chartbuster, and is apparently a rage even in Pakistan.
A recent video clip which went viral on social media claims to show Pakistani women grooving to Ranveer’s song ‘Shararat’ at a wedding despite the Bollywood film being banned in that country.
Netizens couldn’t resist reacting to the viral video.
“Pakistanis are loving Dhurandhar like anything. Maybe they will give Nishan e Pakistan to Aditya Dhar,” quipped one user.
Another user wrote, “Dhurandhar living rent-free across the border.”
“There is so much craze for the film despite the ban. Wow,” remarked one person.
“No matter how much PAK deny it online, the impact of Bollywood is unreal. Ardent reel watchers like me must have seen so many similar dance videos coming out from PAK on the trending songs of Dhurandhar. Bollywood has a cultural footprint on the entire Indian Subcontinent,” posted a netizen.
‘Shararat’, composed by Sashwat Sachdev and sung by Madhubanti Bagchi and Jasmine Sandlas, featuring Ayesha Khan and Krystle D’Souza, has crossed 100 million views on YouTube.

Besides Pakistan, countries like Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE have announced a non-release ban on ‘Dhurandhar’.
The film crossed Rs 1,200-crore mark worldwide.
With Ranveer in the lead, the film co-stars along Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles.
The second part of the film is slated to release in March 2026.
