Mumbai: The latest episode of popular sitcom ‘Anupamaa’ features lead actor Rupali Ganguly in an intense face-off with Rajani, with her dialogue ‘ghuma ghumake marungi’ sparking comparisons with Bollywood actor Sunny Deol.
In the viral episode, Rajani (played by Rinku Dhawan) is seen challenging Anupamaa to show her power.
What began as a confrontation, soon led to a heated face-off between the two.
In the intense scene, Rupali is heard saying, “Maarungi! Tujhe baalon se pakad ke, chotti se ghasitte hue beech bazaar laakar tujhe marungi. Tujhe ghuma ghuma kar marungi, gira gira kar marungi, dauda dauda kar marungi, bhaga bhaga kar marungi, joota bhigo ke marungi, sandal todke marungi, saari lihaaz chhodke marungi. Dono haathon se marungi. Haath thak gaye toh laathon se marungi, aur agar pair thak gaye toh baaton se marungi. Itna marungi, itna marungi ke dard bhi confuse hojayega ke kis kis haddi par, kis kis chhot par dhyan do. Bahot marungi! (I’ll hit you! I’ll grab you by the hair, drag you by your braid right into the middle of the market, and beat you. I’ll spin you around and hit you, knock you down and hit you, chase you and hit you, run you down and hit you. I’ll soak my shoe and hit you, break my sandal and hit you, abandon all decency and hit you. I’ll hit you with both my hands—and when my hands get tired, I’ll hit you with my feet. And if my legs get tired too, I’ll hit you with my words. I’ll hit you so much, so relentlessly, that even pain will get confused about which bone, which wound it should focus on. I’ll hit you badly.)”
