Bhubaneswar: Having introduced the iPhone 16e, Apple is now preparing to launch the iPhone 17 series in the second week of September with several improvements. A new report suggests that the iPhone 17 Pro Max will feature a fresh design, better cameras, and other upgrades.
However, Apple is yet to confirm the launch date, price, specifications, or design. As per speculations, the device of the new series may have a camera bump with an aluminium back panel and glass. The triple-camera is expected to stay the same, but the flash and LiDAR sensor might shift to the right.
Apple may also redesign the camera module on the Pro models. Instead of the current triangular layout, the three rear cameras could be placed in a rectangular camera bar with rounded corners. This change might give the devices a fresh look while keeping the same functionality.
Other possible upgrades include:
• A switch from titanium to an aluminum frame
• A narrower Dynamic Island for a more compact display
• A new Apple-designed Wi-Fi 7 chip for faster connectivity
The RAM upgrade might be available only for the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Expected Specifications of iPhone 17 Pro Max
• Display:
o 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR Display
o ProMotion technology for smoother performance
o New anti-reflective coating for better visibility and durability
