Bengaluru: Neither Shah Rukh Khan nor Juhi Chawla turned up at Saturday’s IPL Auction. Instead, it was the children of the co-owners of IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders who joined the management team at the auction hall.
Juhi welcomed daughter Jahnavi Mehta, and Shah Rukh’s children Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan to the KKR fold.
Sharing a picture of the trio attending the auction, Juhi called them a ‘bunch of young owners’ in an Instagram post.
“Welcome to our KKR players, Shreyas Iyer, Pat Cummins, Nitish Rana… and our bunch of young owners Aryan, Suhana and Jahnavi ..!!! Thank you Venky and allllll our KKR staff. Super grateful and Super happy…!!” Juhi wrote.
Aryan, making his first public appearance since he was granted bail in the drugs-on-cruise case, had attended last year’s auction as well.
But for Suhana and Jahnavi, who were seen sitting on either side of Aryan, it was their first experience.
Suhana paired a white blazer over a top with blue denims, while Aryan wore a black shirt with matching blazer and pants.
