Chennai: Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shah Rukh Khan was missing at Thursday’s IPL players’ auction here, but his son Aryan Khan was in attendance. So was Juhi Chawla’s daughter Jahnavi, who sat next to her dad Jay Mehta, another co-owner of the franchise.
Both Aryan and Jahnavi were part of the team briefings ahead of the auction and sat at the KKR table, eager to pick up tricks of the trade.
The eldest son of the Bollywood Badshah has been a keen follower of Kolkata Knight Riders from the very first season and has been spotted attending matches at several venues, including in the UAE last year, when the IPL had to be shifted out of India due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
But this is the first time Aryan turned up on auction day. Ditto with Juhi and Jay’s daughter Jahnavi.
