It was Rajasthan Royals who won a bidding war with Delhi Capitals to sign the wonderboy from Bihar’s Samastipur for Rs 1.1 crore.

The big bucks on Day 2 were pocketed by veteran medium-pacer Bhuvaneshwar Kumar. Out of the India team for over a year, Bhuvi was acquired by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) for Rs 10.75 crore.

Deepak Chahar, another seamer who has struggled with injury issues, was picked up by Mumbai Indians for a price tag of Rs 9.25 crore.
