Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Wednesday effected in a reshuffle in the IPS cadre and assigned new roles to nine officers.
Three officers Arun Kumar Ray, Y K Jethwa and Ritu Arora, who returned from central deputation, have been appointed ADGP (Communication), ADGP (L &O) and OSD (Home Department) respectively.
Similarly, ADGP (Communication) Lalit Das will now serve as ADG, HQs.
His predecessor, Vinaytosh Mishra, has been appointed as Director, SCRB. He will replace Rajesh Kumar, who will now hold the post of IGP, FSL.
While IGP (Modernisation) Rekha Lohani has been appointed Additional Commissioner of Police, Dhenkanal SP Anupama James has been posted as SP (Vigilance).
