Mumbai: Actress Ananya Pandey, daughter of veteran actor Chunky Pandey, has created a huge fanbase for herself after starring in just a few movies.
The actress believes that she has carved a niche for herself in the industry and doesn’t like to be compared with the most sought-after and talented actress Alia Bhatt.
In a recent interview with Filmygyan, when Ananya was asked if she likes being called as the next Alia Bhatt of the industry, the actress responded with a ‘no’.
“I think Alia is too good. It’s a huge compliment that people think that, but I think I can’t touch what Alia has done, ever,” she added.
Alia’s ‘Jigra’ and Ananya’s ‘CTRL’ are releasing just one week apart from each other. While one will see a theatrical release, the other will be streamed on Netflix from October 4.
Written by Vikramaditya Motwane and Avinash Sampath, Ananya’s CTRL also stars Vihaan Samat in the lead role.
