Mumbai: ‘Dhurandhar’ fame Ayesha Khan has sparked engagement rumours after sharing a series of dreamy pictures with a mystery man on social media.
The actress was seen flaunting a diamond ring in the pictures, prompting speculation that she may have got engaged.
However, her caption suggests there could be more to the post than meets the eye.
The pictures appear to be part of a jewellery brand photoshoot, although Ayesha has not officially confirmed any engagement rumours.
Adding to the intrigue, the actress simply captioned the post, “A dream.”
Ayesha rose to prominence after featuring in Dhurandhar’s hit song Shararat, which also stars Krystle D’Souza.
In a previous interview with Pinkvilla, Ayesha opened up about the physically and emotionally demanding experience of shooting for the song.
“It was two days of shoot. It was so hectic, I was on my period during the shoot, and you know you’re not looking your best because you’re bloated and you’re not at your best. Kaash, I was at my best. It was so much of work for two days… We were running short on time. We were so tired, our bones were aching after dancing so much. I was feeling so overwhelmed, and it was also because I was on my period, so maybe my emotions were hitting me too much. So, I just couldn’t control and I just cried. It was Khushi ke aansu (tears of joy),” she was quoted as saying by the portal.
The song Shararat is set against the backdrop of a grand Karachi wedding, with Ayesha and Krystle performing as wedding dancers and adding energy and glamour to the sequence.
Composed by Shashwat Sachdev, the track features vocals by Madhubanti Bagchi and Jasmine Sandlas and has been choreographed by Vijay Ganguly.
