The presence of the actress in the Rajasthan Royals box during Sunday’s match at Guwahati has sent netizens into a tizzy.
That she was sitting next to Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara, Rajasthan Royals’ Director of Cricket, made it a double whammy.
Malaika’s personal life has always been a topic of discussion on social media. After her divorce from fellow-actor and producer Arbaaz Khan, Malaika started dating another Bollywood star Arjun Kapoor. The duo broke up in 2024 after being in a relationship for around six years.
Now that she was seen with Sangakkara, Malaika’s fans are curious to know if anything is brewing between them.
“Malaika arora is dating sangakkara? now thats a leap,” one user wrote on X.
Another person commented, “Ye malaika arora RR ke dugout me kyu baithi hai?? Wo v Sanga ke saath.”

The 47-year-old Sangakkara is married to Yehali, five years older than him. The couple has 15-year-old twin children.
