Mumbai: Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif who are rumoured to be getting married in Jaipur on December 9, are considering trimming down their wedding guest list in light of the new coronavirus variant Omicron, reports reveal.
Even though the new variant hasn’t created immediate cause for concern in India, the couple is considering trimming down their wedding guest list.
A source close to Katrina and Vicky revealed that the wedding planners have raised their concerns on the number of guests being invited by the couple. While the guest list is almost locked, the couple had a virtual meeting over the weekend with the planners to check any concerns that might have emerged in face of the new variant of the virus spreading rapidly in several parts of the world, India Today reported.
“They don’t want to take any chances and now the new concern is to downsize the guest list in light of the new variant. While the couple has decided to invite all their co-stars, directors and producers now they are revising the list and figuring things out with a new perspective. Katrina’s side also has a few guests who will be travelling from overseas and that might change given the new travel guidelines being issued,” said the source close to Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, the report added.
