Is Samantha Dating ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ Director Raj Nidimoru?

Mumbai: Samantha Ruth Prabhu split with fellow-actor Naga Chaitanya in October 2021 after four yrars of marriage.

Naga has moved on and got married a second time, tying the knot last December with actress Shobhita Dhulipala.

Samantha apparently found the separation and divorce with Naga tougher to handle, as was hinted in some of her social media posts.

But now, she may have found love again.

There were murmurs of her being close with ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ director Raj Nidimoru.

Those speculations got stoked further as the ‘Family Man’ actress on Saturday shared a series of pictures from a pickleball tournament, where the two are seen together.

One of the pictures from a World Pickleball League match caught everyone’s attention as Samantha is seen holding Raj’s hand.

Samantha owns the Chennai Super Champs team in the World Pickleball League, and showed her level of excitement and enthusiasm through the pictures.

“My first venture into the world of sports — pickleball, of all things — has been so transformative! I came into it with a lifetime of hesitation, ‘cos I had always avoided sports because I hate losing. But something about the qualities of athletes and the spirit of sportsmanship have always intrigued me. So when the opportunity came to own the @chennaisuperchamps, I dove right in. And I’m SO glad I did,” Samantha wrote alongside the pictures.

She praised her team and expressed her gratitude to her teammates Raj and Himank.

“The excitement, the growth, the realisation that in sports it’s all about learning, evolving beyond wins and losses, and pushing beyond limits… has taught me so much. Our team gave everything, showing relentless spirit, especially with challenges stacked against us and our top player not being able to join us. Their grit and resilience has given me a fresh perspective. And I couldn’t have asked for better teammates than Raj and Himank on this rollercoaster journey. This is just the beginning!! Truly amazed at how well the league was put together. It was spectacular! Kudos@worldpickleballofficial @gaurav.natekar @aratiponnappa.”

Neither Samantha nor Raj has confirmed their relationship.

Nidimoru is part of the renowned director duo Raj and DK. The duo has won a lot of acclaim and appreciation for their work on projects like ‘The Family Man’, ‘Farzi’, ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ and ‘Guns & Gulaabs’.

Samantha teamed up with Raj and DK for the hugely popular 2021 web series ‘The Family Man 2’ and more recently ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’, co-starring Varun Dhawan.

Samantha is again collaborating with Raj and DK on their upcoming series ‘Rakht Brahmand’.

Obviously, Raj and Samantha know each other very well for some years now. It will surprise none if they are actually in a romantic relationship.
