Mumbai: Amid buzz over his reunion with ex-wife Dhanashree Verma on the reality show ‘The 50’, cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has finally addressed rumours and set the record straight.
Chahal took to his Instagram stories and rubbished reports about participating in ‘The 50’, calling it factually incorrect.
The statement added that there have been “no discussions or commitments of this nature.”
“There is no truth to the reports currently circulating about Yu
zvendra Chahal’s participation in any reality show. These claims are speculative and incorrect,” read the statement.
The note further read, “Yuzvendra is not associated with the show mentioned in recent reports, and there are no discussions or commitments of this nature. We request media platforms and social media users to refrain from spreading unverified information.”
Chahal’s ex-wife, choreographer Dhanashree has not reacted to reunion rumours yet.
Hosted by Farah Khan, the upcoming reality show ‘The 50’ will be going live from February 1.
Dhanashree and Chahal got married in December 2020. They started living separately from June 2022 and got divorced in March last year.
