Margao: Odisha conceded the equalizer in the final 10 minutes of their ISL-7 clash against Bengaluru FC to settle for a solitary point at Nehru Stadium, Fatorda, on Sunday evening.
Odisha FC scored in the eighth minute through their talismanic striker Diego Mauricio and held on to the lead for 74 minutes. It was the Brazilian’s seventh goal of the league, out of 13 that Odisha have scored so far, and is No. 3 in the scorers’ list.
However, Erik Paartalu’s header in the 82nd minute ruined Odisha FC’s hopes of notching up their second victory of the season.
Odisha FC stayed bottom of the table with 8 points from 13 matches, while Bengaluru FC took their tally to 14 points to be in seventh place.
