ISL-7: Odisha FC To Start Campaign Against Hyderabad FC On Nov 23

Mumbai: Odisha FC will kick off its campaign in Edition 7 of the Indian Super League (ISL) with a clash against Hyderabad FC on November 23 at GMC Stadium, Bambolim.

As per the fixtures for first 11 rounds of India’s premier football competition, released on Friday by Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), defending champions ATK Mohun Bagan will face off against Kerala Blasters in the league-opener on November 20.

This will be a unique season. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire competition will be played behind closed doors under a bio-secure bubble in Goa across three venues — JL Nehru Stadium (Fatorda), GMC Stadium (Bambolim) and Tilak Maidan (Vasco).

With SC East Bengal’s late inclusion, the league will feature an unprecedented 115 games. All 11 clubs will play each other in a double round-robin format, with the top four teams qualifying for the playoffs.

Nov 23 — vs Hyderabad FC; Nov 29 — vs Jamshedpur FC; Dec 3 — vs ATK Mohun Bagan; Dec 6 — vs Mumbai City FC; Dec 12 — vs FC Goa; Dec 17 — vs Bengaluru FC; Dec 22 — vs NorthEast United FC; Jan 3 — vs SC East Bengal; Jan 7 — vs Kerala Blasters; Jan 10 — vs Chennaiyin FC

Note: Odisha FC’s matches against Jamshedpur, Mumbai City, East Bengal and Chennaiyin FC will begin at 5 pm, while their other games will kick off at 7.30 pm.
