Bhubaneswar: A day after getting Saul Crespo on board, Odisha FC on Friday announced the signing of another Spanish footballer, Pedro José Martín Moreno.
The 30-year-old forward has agreed to a one-year deal for the ninth season of ISL.
He has a wealth of experience in Spanish football, with more than 340 appearances for different clubs like Mirandes, Tenerife, Celta Vigo, Murcia, Lleida Esportiu, Gimnastic.
Besides having played 126 matches in La Liga 2 and 12 in Copa Del Rey, Pedro Martin has 3 UEFA Europa League appearances under his belt. He even has a Europa League winner’s medal, thanks to Atlético Madrid’s victory over Athletic Bilbao in the 2012 final, though Pedro Martin was on the bench.
He joined Atlético Madrid in 2008 at the age of 16, and spent two years with the youth academy before making his senior debut with the C team.
His first appearance in La Liga was as a substitute, in a 2-2 away draw against Real Betis on April 29, 2012.
