Bhubaneswar: Passengers had to face severe inconvenience as Kantabanji-Howrah Ispat Express developed some technical snag at Saintala railway station in Odisha’s Balangir district on Sunday morning.
According to sources, the problem was identified around 5:45 am shortly after the train departed from Titlagarh railway station and the passengers were stranded for over 2 hours at Saintala railway station.
A technical team from the Indian Railways conducted a thorough inspection of the engine and replaced it with another engine. The train eventually resumed its journey after the restoration work.
