New Delhi: Odia shooter Shriyanka Sadangi has made the cut in two events for the ISSF World Cup to be held in Cairo in February-March.
Shriyanka will represent India in the 50m Rifle 3 position Mixed Team event along with Akhil Sheoran.
Shriyanka has also been named for the 50m Rifle 3 position Women’s Individual event, along with S Kaur Samra.
The Sambalpur-born Shriyanka is an experienced shooter, having bagged 3 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze medals in different international events, including the Asian Senior Airgun Shooting Championship and Asian Shooting Championship.
The 27-year-old shooter was honoured with the Ekalabya Puraskar, the most prestigious sports award of Odisha.
