New Delhi: A lab in Sydney sent wrong COVID test reports to nearly 1,000 people, according to reports. A day earlier, the same pathology lab — SydPath — was involved in a similar episode, wrongly telling 400 COVID positive people that they had tested negative.
SydPath confirmed on Monday that nearly 995 people were sent SMSs that they had tested negative though their test results were still not in.
The clinic said that all the people had been informed about the error. They would receive their correct test results by Monday night, it added.
