Nuapada: Vigilance officers caught the principal of an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) while taking a bribe in Nuapada district on Tuesday.
The accused was identified as Bibhuti Bhusan Sahu, the principal of the ITI at Khariar Road.
According to Vigilance sources, Sahu had demanded Rs 30,000 from one Bhupendra Mahananda, a part-time guest instructor (PTGI), to forward his name to a committee for renewal of his term for one year.
Sahu was caught red-handed while accepting the money in his office.
