It’s A Boy For Bollywood Actress Dia Mirza & Vaibhav Rekhi

Mumbai:  Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi are now proud parents of a baby boy, who they have named Avyaan Azaad Rekhi.

Sharing a picture on his official Instragram handle, Dia wrote, “our son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi was born on May 14th. Having arrived early, our little miracle has since then been cared for by tireless nurses and doctors in the Neonatal ICU.”

The actress revealed that she had to undergo an emergency C-section due to some medical complications.

“A sudden appendectomy during my pregnancy and a subsequent and very severe bacterial infection could have led to sepsis and proven to be life-threatening. Thankfully, the timely care and intervention by our doctor ensured the safe birth of our baby via an emergency C-section,” she said.

Dai also thanked everyone for their love and concern.

The actress was last seen in the movie ‘Thappad’ starring Taapsee Pannu.
