Bhubaneswar: Living up to its reputation as Odisha’s Kashmir, Daringbadi in Kandhamal district recorded the season’s lowest minimum temperature of 4 degrees Celsius on Sunday night. Jharsuguda was the second coldest place at 5.6 degrees Celsius.
Daringbadi was the coldest place in Odisha last week, except one day when Phulbani recorded the lowest minimum temperature. Here’s how cold it has been in Daringbadi:

* 7.5°C (Dec 18). Phulbani was coldest at 7°C
* 6.5°C (Dec 17)
* 7°C (Dec 16)
* 7.5°C (Dec 15)
* 7.5°C (Dec 14)
In all, 13 places in the state recorded minimum temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius on Sunday night. Baripada (9.5), Jharsuguda (5.6), Keonjhar (7.4), Sambalpur (9), Sundargarh (8), Hirakud (9), Talcher (9), Bhawanipatna (8.9), Bolangir (8), Phulbani (6.5), Titlagarh (9.3) and Sonepur (6.9).
