Bhubaneswar: Late music composer Adesh Shrivastava’s wife Vijayta Pandit urges Shah Rukh Khan to keep his promise and help her son Avitesh bag the lead role in a movie.
In a one-to-one with Indian Express, Vijayta shared that even after she came out in public seeking SRK’s help, neither the actor nor his team have approached her till now.
She tried contacting Shah Rukh’s manager Pooja Dadlani, but her calls went unanswered.
“I am the only parent with Avitesh, so I have to make sure that he has to become something in life. When this incident happened I was there. Aadeshji held SRK’s hand and pointed towards Avitesh. Now is the time when Avitesh should be playing the main hero. Nothing has happened even after I spoke up. I tried reaching out again. I got his secretary Pooja Dadlani’s number. I tried calling her two or three times, but she did not answer. SRK is a wonderful person, a very sweet boy,” said Vijayta, as quoted by IE.
Opening up about Shah Rukh’s initial days of struggle in the industry, Vijayta said that he lived in a modest house that didn’t even have a sofa.
Now that the actor is successful and God has blessed him with so much, he should fulfil the promise which he had made to her late husband Adesh Shrivatsava.
“God has given him so much, so now he has to keep his promise. I am not saying they should sign him for a film; they should just recommend him. Help him audition,” she said.
Earlier, Vijayta claimed that Shah Rukh had promised her dying husband that he would take care of their son and help me establish himself in the industry.
