Bhubaneswar: BJP national president and Union Health Minister J P Nadda is scheduled to visit Odisha on April 12 to attend a number of events.
Sharing this information on Saturday, BJP MP Sukanta Panigrahi said Naddaâ
s visit is aimed at further strengthening the partyâs organisational base and interacting with the state leadership.
As per sources, Nadda is slated to inaugurate various government projects, interact with party workers, and hold meetings with senior leaders.
The Union Minister is also likely to address a large gathering of party members and supporters, outlining BJPâs vision and future roadmap for the state. His visit is being viewed as a crucial effort to energise the party functionaries at the grassroots.
Ahead of Naddaâs visit, there is growing speculation about the announcement of BJPâs Odisha unit president with observers predicting that it may be made after his tour. Party sources indicate that BJP is likely to name the new state unit chief after April 14. Before that, BJP is likely to announce the name of its new national President.
