Puri: To ensure timely conduct of the rituals of the Lords in the Shree Jagannath Temple, the temple administration has decided to introduce three-tier supervision very soon.
Briefing mediapersons here on Friday, chief administrator, SJTA, Pradipta Mahapatra said, as decided, the Tadhaukarana and Bhitarachha sevayats will look after the rituals starting from the Dwaraphita to Sakala Dhupa in the morning session while the Deulakarana sevayats and Chhattisha Nijog Nayak Pattajoshi Mahapatra will supervise the rituals from Sakala Dhupa to Sandhya Dhupa.
He also said that for proper management of all the rituals, the Budhabaria Managing Committee will be restructured within a week.
Informing that the Supreme Court will have a hearing of the reforms in the Shree Jagannath Temple on February 5, Mahapatra said prior to the hearing, the new amicus curiae Ranjit Kumar, appointed by the apex court, will visit the temple. The temple administration will provide all the information related to the reforms to him.
Asked about the election of the Daitapati Nijog scheduled on January 28, he said the temple administration has no role in the election as it is an internal matter of the Nijog.
